This guide will walk you through setting up your DreamIT Host email account on your iPhone or iPad using the Apple Mail app.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following information ready:
- Your email address
- Your email password
- Incoming mail server (IMAP): mail.yourdomain.com
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
Step-by-Step Setup Instructions
Step 1: Open Settings
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
Step 2: Navigate to Mail
Scroll down and tap on Mail, then tap on Accounts.
Step 3: Add Account
Tap on Add Account, then select Other at the bottom of the list.
Step 4: Add Mail Account
Tap on Add Mail Account and enter your details:
- Name: Your full name (this will appear when you send emails)
- Email: Your full email address
- Password: Your email password
- Description: A name for this account (e.g., “Work Email”)
Tap Next to continue.
Step 5: Configure Server Settings
Select IMAP as the account type, then enter the following:
Incoming Mail Server:
- Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com
- Username: Your full email address
- Password: Your email password
Outgoing Mail Server:
- Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com
- Username: Your full email address
- Password: Your email password
Tap Next to continue.
Step 6: Save Settings
Your iPhone or iPad will verify the account settings. Once verified, tap Save to complete the setup.
